We would like to provide one or two support groups for affordable housing tenants and occupants of SRO hotels in SF.
We are looking for people who have experience with leading a group, or people who are in recovery and are willing to share their experience to help others. We are open to new curriculums if there is an idea you have for a group you'd like to offer.
We also are in the planning stages of a women's poetry group and are looking for co-facilitators for that.
We can schedule groups to fit most schedules of availability. It's most important that the commitment is kept. If you have 3 hours per week that you can volunteer we need all the quality help we can get.

Mission Statement
"To help those who want to help themselves"
Description
RSN has been providing peer-to-peer recovery services since 1996 to ex-offenders, low-income families, at-risk-youth, the homelsss, and veterans. We have a state approved basic computer training program and we are on the ETPL training providers list. We provide emotional, motivational and soft skills support and are part of the SF Welfare-to-Work programs. Our success rate is very good and we need volunteers to help us continue serving the less fortunate members of our community.
