We are currently seeking a seasonal volunteer to assume the role of Local Program Coordinator that contributes to organizing and coordinating special events and fundraisers that promote SOOR athletes in our SOOR Jefferson County Local Program.

• Promote the mission, philosophy, policies & procedures of Special Olympics Oregon
• Recruit and manage the Local Program Management team.
• Serve as the primary contact for your Local Program
• Assist and train each Local Program management team member as needed.
• Ensure funds are raised and finances are recorded appropriately according to Special Olympics Oregon’s policies & procedures.
• Perform duties that may be assigned by Program & Coach Services Director
• Effectively communicate to all athletes, volunteers, family members and public
• Arrange & conduct management team Meetings.

• Winter (Jan - March)
• Basketball
• Powerlifting

• Summer (May - July)
• Athletics - Track & Field
• Bocce
• Golf
• Softball

• Fall (Sept - Nov)
• Soccer
• Volleyball
• Swimming
• Bowling
