Cycle For Independence 2024. Bike Ride for the Blind.

NATIONAL Federation of the Blind of Idaho needs volunteers to check in riders and register those who did not preregister for the Cycle for Independence. The bike ride will be May 18 starting and finishing at Riverglen Junior High School parking lot at Gary Lane and Hill Road. This is a very fun event and raises funds for the blind as well as helping people learn about blind people and talk to blind riders and workers. The metric century will depart at 700 am, the 25 mile, will depart at 830am, and the 10 mile ride will begin 930 am. All volunteers are invited to enjoy a lunch, of hamburgers and hot dogs between 10 am and 1 pm. Bike socks are free to riders and volunteers. This event is expecting 400 riders. Please note, all listed shifts have availability as of 18 April 2024.
