This year Tri-Cities Diversity & Inclusion Council and Frichette Winery are raising money for youth scholarships! Red & Black on the Green Juneteenth Soiree will need volunteers to check in and serve attendees, help set up, and take down this event. Dinner will be provided to all volunteers. The Tri-Cities Diversity & Inclusion Council is a nonprofit 501 c(3) community organization dedicated to fostering a unified community, embracing cultures, and celebrating diversity through education, advocacy, and the promotion of cultural competence and compassion.

Description

Passionate individuals who want to create positive change form Tri-Cities Diversity and Inclusion Council (TCD&IC). We came together over a common goal:

  • to create an inclusive environment where all members of the community feel valued and respected regardless of their differences.

TCD&IC advocates for marginalized community members, provides DEI training and educational resources to local businesses, and holds neighborhood events to create cultural competency and awareness.

TCD&IC members are representative of the Tri-Cities’ diverse population, including different ethnicities, religious beliefs, socioeconomic statuses, physical abilities, career experiences, gender identities, and educational backgrounds.

  • Orientation or Training
  • We will need all service staff from 6pm until the event is cleaned up. The event is scheduled to finish around 9:30 pm.
  • We will host a training with our event planner going over expectations and other fine service practices that we hope to employ during this event.
