MAWMARI

Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island grants wishes to children facing life-threatening medical conditions. We are seeking some very special people from the Western Massachusetts area to become trained Wish Granting Volunteers.

Wish Granters work in teams of two to meet with our children to discover what their one true Wish is, and then help us come up with creative ways to enhance and boost the Wish.

There is a one-time 90-minute online training, an application and Conflict of Interest form to fill out, and a criminal background check needs to be completed.

Volunteers sign up for Wishes, which they can select from our weekly Volunteer emails. Most of our Volunteers work full-time, so Wish Visits and Deliveries are usually scheduled after hours and on week days.

We especially have a need for volunteers from Berkshire, Hampshire & Hamden counties.
