CorsoCare Hospice is looking for a volunteer to work in our West Branch office. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who has administrative experience and has the desire to give back in a way that truly helps others. This is a flexible schedule (2-4 hours per week). You pick the days and times you want to come in. We just ask that it’s within regular business hours.

The ideal volunteer would help us with:

· Mailings

· Assembling PPE kits

· Other office duties

The CorsoCare Hospice Volunteer Program exists to provide uplifting support, life enrichment, companionship, and supportive presence to our end-of-life patients and their families. This is achieved through the following: compassionate care, consistent training, targeted Plan of Care, and therapeutic Interventions. In accordance with State and Federal Hospice Regulations and our governing philosophy of 1440 Focus, we strive to create the best experience for our patients and to meet their specific needs by creating the "absolute best experience with every person, in every interaction, every minute of every day.

  • Orientation or Training
  • We ask that new volunteers make a minimum 3-month commitment and dedicate 2-4 hours per week to volunteering.
  • New volunteers must complete an online application, virtual interview, background check, online orientation, fingerprinting, and TB testing with CorsoCare Hospice covering all expenses.
