We are seeking volunteers who are passionate about animal welfare to join our team at the Viva sanctuary. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of farm animals including horses, goats, sheep, and chickens.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning out goat barns: Volunteers will assist in cleaning and maintaining the goat barns to provide a safe and clean environment for the animals.

• Cleaning and scrubbing waters: Volunteers will help with cleaning and scrubbing the water troughs and buckets for the animals.

• Feeding and cleaning different animal areas: Volunteers will help with feeding and cleaning the different animal areas including the horse pastures, goat and sheep pastures, and chicken coops.

• Spending time with disabled animals: Volunteers will have the opportunity to spend time with disabled animals and provide them with extra care and attention.

• Other tasks: Volunteers may also be asked to assist with other tasks such as cleaning out hay sheds, weeding, and general maintenance around the sanctuary.

Requirements:

• Physical ability: Volunteers should be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying feed, cleaning animal areas, and walking on uneven terrain.

• Comfortable around farm animals: Volunteers will be working around farm animals and should feel comfortable interacting with them.

• Commitment: Volunteers should be willing to commit to a regular schedule and be punctual.

• Age requirement: Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
