Geared toward young families to help them connect with each other, a mentor, and the community on a more meaningful level. Each week there is an activity planned or a discussion topic that opens the door for mentoring. Moms bring their children and we enjoy a meal together. Afterwards, children go with a leader volunteer for playtime and activities.

If you have children that need to get volunteer hours in for school, this is a great way for them to acquire their hours by helping with the kids.

Description
First Glance is a youth center that operates in the Kenmore neighborhood of Akron. Kenmore is our home, our family, and our community. Since our founding in 2000, we’ve hosted a wide variety of programming for students of all ages. We offer teenagers and young adults a safe place where they are loved and valued - and ultimately, through Christ, we provide them with hope. We have seen over 10,000 different students come through our doors and leave as part of our family, empowered to reach their potential and become who God created them to be.
