The Operation Nightwatch Hospitality Center is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 7 to 11 p.m. It is known as the "poor person's Starbucks," providing a place for the people of the street (the homeless, low-income, and mentally-ill) to come and be with friends, converse, share stories, and play table games. Volunteers serve coffee and sandwiches and join in the interactions, making the Hospitality Center a place of acceptance and respect. At times, we may need our volunteers to help with organizing of our space and do some, plain ol' scrubbin.
