Library Field Trip
An ESL class visits the public library while learning about community resources.

Basic Needs Peer Navigator: VSS MN provides services to new immigrants and refugees. Many of these individuals are without transportation. Also, as new residents, they need help with setting up appointments and getting to medical clinics, or social service agencies to set up social services. In addition, they need to get Minnesota licenses or identification, and social security numbers or need help with job applications.

The volunteers in this capacity provide transportation and support for helping these individuals with basic needs in order to become self-sufficient residents of Minnesota.
