Hello!
We are June's Senior Cat Rescue, and we are a 501c3 nonprofit. We provide sanctuary for senior cats for the rest of their lives. We are a small organization that has grown a lot in the past couple of years and we need help with managing our finances. We are now using QuickBooks, but we will soon be opeing a cat lounge and retail space soon and need help with our bookkeeping relative to the cat lounge.
We are looking for someone with experience with bookkeeping, who can help us set up our books related to the cat lounge and retail space. This person should be local, have good communication skills, and have the ability to train others.
In addition, any experience with filing the 990-EZ form would be a plus!
We are excited to be growing our organization and hope we can find the right person to help us.

We are an all-volunteer, no-kill senior cat rescue who rescues senior cats from high kill shelters or when their owners have died or no longer able to care for them.

- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- In the beginning until everything is set up, the time commitment could be 10 hours a month (not really sure how long setting up QuickBooks takes). After that, it should only be a couple hours a month.
- Must have experience with QuickBooks/boo and/or working as a treasurer with other nonprofit orgs. Must be reliable and able to meet the needs of the organization. We are working hard to save cats, so this role is very important.
