APPRENTICE ATTORNEY FOR PUBLIC DEFENDERS OFFICE
Apprentice attorneys will work side-by-side with a lead attorney in a misdemeanor or collateral consequences unit, learning the work of being a defender. Volunteers will enjoy learning in a real-time environment with skilled defenders.
Various duties include assisting with misdemeanor motions and trials, working side-by-side with a lead attorney, and learning the work of being a defender in a courtroom, through exposure to clients and cases,
We are seeking two volunteers, with active CalBar licenses who have the desire to learn the work of an attorney defender. We are requesting a time commitment of four hours per day, four days per week
