Job Title: Volunteer Communications Committee Member

Job Description:
The Kiawanda Community Center is seeking creative and dedicated volunteers to join our
Communications Committee. As a committee member, you will help us promote our organization and its
mission through a variety of communications channels.
Responsibilities:
● Work with the Communications Committee Chair to develop and execute a comprehensive
communications plan.
● Create content for our website, social media platforms, and other communications channels, such
as the Kiawanda Kapers newsletter and email blasts.
● Assist with graphic design, photography, and video production as needed.
● Help to coordinate and promote special events and fundraising campaigns.
● Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of our communications efforts and provide
recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
● Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages.
● Experience with social media platforms, website content management systems, and email
marketing tools.
● Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to engage audiences and promote our
organization.
● Excellent organizational and project management skills.
