As a board member, you will play a vital role in shaping the direction of our
26-year old, volunteer-led organization and ensuring that we continue to meet the needs of our
community.

● Attend monthly board meetings and actively participate in discussions and decision-making
processes.
● Serve on one or more committees, contributing your expertise and knowledge to support the work
of the organization which may include grant writing.
● Act as an ambassador for the community center, promoting our programs and services to the
wider community.
● Help to identify and cultivate potential donors and sponsors to support the organization.
● Participate in fundraising efforts and assist with special events as needed.
Qualifications:
● Passion for South Tillamook County and the mission of the KCC.
● Previous board or leadership experience is preferred but not required.
● Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
● Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
