Our behavioral health emergency department is designed for children, teens, and adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The wait time for in-patient or residential treatment can be long. As a volunteer, you can help patients pass the time by chatting, playing games, or doing art projects together.

This role is for you if you:

  • Are able to connect with people of different ages and backgrounds
  • Enjoy spending time with people one-on-one and in small groups
  • Like seeing the immediate results of your volunteering through patient satisfaction
  • Are 21 years old or older

No experience necessary! We will train you on everything you need to know to be successful.
