Description:
The Logistics Supply activity in a disaster relief operation receives, decides on sourcing, fills, and delivers orders for supplies from Disaster Relief Operation (DRO) groups and activities.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and expectations include but are not limited to:
- Receive, track, fill, and deliver supply orders within the time allotted standards in the Supply Standards and Procedures.
- Record, view, and obtain order status electronically.
- Provide good customer service.
- Complete reconciliation and order fulfillment as required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Willingness to comply with Red Cross COVID-19 policies for in-person volunteer activities.
- Comfortable working independently and as a part of a team
- Comfortable working behind the scenes supplying disaster operations with necessary material
- Familiarity with proper moving, lifting, and storing of material
- Good organizational skills, responsible and punctual.
- Ability to actively listen.
- Ability to implement Standards and Procedures and follow associated job tools including reporting requirements.
Customer Focus: Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Action Oriented: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
