Montgomery Parks has special events all year round! We often need help with setting up and taking down the event, and also with activities during the event.
If you like working with families and kids, and enjoy being outdoors, this would be a great opportunity for you. Often centered around nature-themed activities, volunteers help kids do crafts, play games and get active out in the parks!

Description
Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
