Veteran volunteers wanted to visit with fellow men and women for our veterans on hospice care, in various locations for a volunteer program entiled "Coffee & Comrades" most facilities will provide the coffee, you provide the doughnuts, companionship and conversation.this is a easy way to give back and serve in fellowship with our veteran hospice patients and brighten their day. You can choose the day and how often you wish to serve once a month? Weekly? The choice is yours but the time you spend will be appreciated. Description

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. We are looking for Volunteers to help support our Person Centered Quality Care Team.

Our Volunteers can assist by visiting with patients, provide pet visits, share music, play a game, read a story, talk together, share a craft, or small gift, send cards or letters, help in our office, and much more. We are a part of The We Honor Veterans Program and need volunteers to help honor and support our patients who served in the military. Our Volunteers are fully trained and supported.

We currently serve the following areas ; Lake, Kane, Cook, DuPage & Will County. We offer flexible schedules, training , support, and a caring environment.

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • 1-2 hours once a month or weekly it is up to your schedule
  • All volunteers must fill out an application and complete the on site orientation and onboarding.
