Looking for a few compassionate people for Sunday morning feedings along with shelter cleanup for the residents of Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary.

Must be responsible and dedicated to the well being of our disabled animals.
You must be comfortable around horses, pigs, roosters, chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats, sheep, and peafowl.
If any of these species intimidates you, this might not be the right opportunity for you. We have others available.
You will be responsible for opening up shelters, measuring out food, adding supplements, and distributing to all the residents.
Cleaning/filling water buckets and troughs
Cleaning feed pans
Cleaning shelters and disposing of debris
Interacting with the animals and making sure all their needs are met.
Helping with bandage changings and putting disabled animals in their wheelchairs as needed.
Most work is outdoors.

The shift is about 3 hours give or take.
Must be able to work as a team and independently.

Our mission is to provide care, healing, and sanctuary to those needing extra care due to deformities or life changing injuries. We believe in bringing awareness to the fact that just because they are disabled does not mean they are less deserving of living a full and happy life.

Description

Animals that are severely handicapped, needing 24/7 care, that would otherwise not have a chance of life. These are the souls that are welcomed with kindness and compassion to our sanctuary to live out the rest of their days. We not only give them a happy life, but a quality of life that is filled with love. It's amazing to watch these beautiful souls heal and live life when the right care and environment is provided for them. Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary is solely run through dedicated volunteer efforts, and donations from caring people. We are a recognized 501(c)(3) organization. Bella View Farm Animal Sanctuary is a "true" sanctuary in every sense.
