The Employment Works Youth Initiative has merged with the program High School/ High Tech and has a wonderful new program to offer. Our program supports at risk youth to gain the skills and knowledge for obtaining employment. This curriculum engages youth with a variety of learning opportunities facilitated by local businesses, volunteers and Employment Works staff. As a volunteer you would help facilitate the Employment Course where youth are provided with job seeking skills. Topics include interviewing, job searching, resume building, application completion and understanding what to expect from employers during a job search. We serve more than 4,000 people annually through the Ready to Achieve Mentoring Program (RAMP), Social Security Work Incentive Planning, Colorado Work Incentive Counseling, Ticket to Work and Employment Works job placement programs.
