Happy Earth Day!! If you enjoy being out in the sunshine we would appreciate your help! AIDS Care Ocean State offers supportive and assisted living facilities designed to offer our clients a family atmosphere while providing essential care to encourage a healthy lifestyle. Rigorous medication regiments and various obstacles with health can make outdoor work and garden maintenance difficult for our clients.
This is a two day event: Saturday, April 19th 10:30am - 1:30pm & Sunday, April 280h 10:30am - 1:30pm
Garden & Yard Volunteers support our clients by offering a helping hand with weeding, raking and planting flowers and plants. You needn't be a garden guru but hopefully you enjoy working outdoors in a fun and friendly environment.
April 22nd is Earth Day so this is a great way to do your part this weekend and help to brighten up our clients' day with beautiful flowers & plants. Any and all help is greatly appreciate and thank you for your support.

AIDS Care Ocean State (ACOS) is dedicated to providing quality affordable housing, case management, medical & nursing care, and prevention to adults, families, adolescents & children who are affected by or at risk for HIV infection. ACOS will act as an advocate for individuals and families at risk while providing those wrap-around support services needed to ensure and maintain a high quality of life for the people we serve. Our vision is a world with no new HIV infections, and those living with HIV and AIDS do so with support, equality, respect and dignity. Your gift will help us to achieve these goals.
Description
ACOS has earned its place as an established, trusted and valued part of the community and is seen as the leading force in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Currently, we provide services to more than 500 families and we have been and remain firmly rooted in the belief that everyone has the right to quality healthcare and equal access to HIV prevention, treatment and support.
Our services are crucial to the health and well-being of every client. Lack of housing, food and other social determinants are directly linked to poor health outcomes, having a detrimental effect on proper nutrition, medication adherence, family stability and job insecurity have increased depression and loneliness.CAUSE AREAS
