Rock County LGBTQ+ Committee and Defy Domestic Abuse Beloit are seeking volunteers and crew members for the production of Little Shop of Horrors.
This is the 2nd production of it's kind on the Rock County Area. The all LGBTQ+ cast of Little Shop of Horrors will be at the Janesville Performing Arts Center September 21st - 24th.
We are looking for theatre enthusiastic crew members to join us bringing this production to life. Volunteer opportunities to start as early as May and to continue through to September during the show.
We're looking for help in the following areas:
- Props
- Hair and Make-up
- Costuming
- Set Design (Must be comfortable with power tools)
- Set Painting (Folks comfortable with detailed work)
- Stage Crew

Our center provides services such as:
-a 24 hour crisis, response, information and referral line. 365 days a year (608) 365-1119
-Emer gency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children
- Legal advocacy
-Support groups
-Safety, housing and financial planning for victims
-Children's Services
- Hispanic and other minority domestic violence outreach services
-Community Education and advocacy on behalf of a violence free community

- Time Commitment will vary depending on which area you're interested in. Orientation with Director and Volunteer Coordinator will be required.
- Any volunteer for this project will need to commit to being a safe, non-judgmental, respectful and an ally to the LGBTQ+ community and the entire cast and crew throughout the entirety of this production. If not committed they will be asked to leave.
