Our Hospice volunteers visit terminally ill patients that have a prognosis of six months or less to live and their families. Our volunteers offer a change of pace in our patient’s lives and bring a ray of sunshine into the patient’s days. This opportunity helps our patients feel seen, heard, loved and validated.
- Friendly visits (activities, games, and listening)
- Caring companionship
- Respite care for caregivers
- Running errands
- Light housekeeping
- Phone visits
- Training, TB testing & background check provided
Volunteering for Rocky Mountain Care takes a small commitment on your part (1-3 hours a week), but largely affects those you visit. Please come join our team, you are NEEDED!
