The Amphibian Foundation is seeking volunteers to work in the live animal collections at the Amphibian Foundation. The Collections Team is responsible for the care and maintenance of several cosmopolitan collections of amphibians and reptiles across 6 laboratories, and is made up of 5 staff members, and over 30 volunteers. If you would like to join this dynamic and diverse team of passionate conservation-minded people, please reach out to us.

Our turtles and tortoises benefit greatly by being provided outdoor walks on the Blue Heron Nature Preserve in Atlanta (where AF is located). Dedicated turtle walkers, who can supervise the roaming tortoises. provide essential care in a very peaceful way.

We provide all the training necessary , and our volunteers work with us on the front line of conservation, research, and educational projects caring for exciting, rare, and endangered species. This primarily includes the feeding, cleaning, maintenance, and health data collection.

Turtle Walker volunteers work Tues and/or Thurs and/or Friday mornings from 9:30 - 12 pm.
