There are many ways you can give back in your community! Hospice volunteers find their service to be deeply meaningful and rewarding. As a hospice volunteer, you become a part of someone's life when you are needed most.

Locations needing to fill: Greenville, Spartanburg, Clemson and Greenwood.

The qualifications are simple: Have a caring heart and be sensitive to the needs of others. A strong sense of empathy is another important piece of helping patients during their illness.

Direct Care: Companionship, Caregiver Relief, Household Small Projects,
Special Talents: Musicians, Massage Therapist, Hair Stylist, nail care (no cutting nails)
In-Direct Care: Which does not involve direct patient contact.

No matter the task, your time and talents make a difference. There are two main types of assistance that volunteers can provide: direct care, which involves working with patients in their home, long-term care facility, or hospice house, and indirect care, which does not involve direct patient contact.
