ORGANIZATION: THE CHURCH OF SALVATION

The Church of Salvation is looking for a social media person to help create social media posts for our homeless outreach program called For I Was. This program was designed to help homeless and low-income people. Initially, we gave 5 families $25 grocery gift cards, then it moved to 5 families getting $100 gift cards. Now we are helping the homeless to navigate to different homes, whether that be permanent homes like co-living spaces or temporary homes like shelters and safe parking.

Because of the amount of work that is needed to create a successful social media channel, we are looking for someone who can volunteer their time to help create something unique and special so we can reach those who are looking to donate, those who are in need or those who need something good on their timeline.

This person would be able to come up with different campaigns, execute campaigns and manage our social media presence.

Our program For I Was is to help those in need in the San Diego area.

Description

We started in July 2018 and have always been about the community. We have recently stepped out and provided a Resource Center in 3 parts of San Diego and food distribution in those locations.
