Volunteering with Gentiva Hospice means sharing your heart, hands, wisdom and gifts with a terminally ill patient, caregiver and their loved ones by visiting the patient to offer compassionate presence, running errands or sitting with a home patient so the caregiver may rest. We visit the patient where they live - in a personal residence or in a facility. A visit may be made on the weekend or during the week. There is no requirement for number of hours one must serve.
