At this time, this opportunity is for current US-Based candidates only.

SoulPhamm Inc. (www.soulphamm.org) is looking for someone who has experience "cutting" music mixes to join their artistic team.

Here's what "we" mean by cutting music ....

Both our hip-hop majorette dance team and stomp & shake cheer teams perform in competitions, parades and other events. The length of their routines is generally between three and five minutes (except for parades where we would need the mix to be about an hour long) or grandstand performances where the mix needs to be a minute long. Here's what we would need the "mixologist" to do -

1. The coaches pick out songs that they would like for the girls to perform to.
2. They send the "mixologist" links to the songs as well as the "markers" in the songs (example 1:05 to 1:10) and the order in which the songs would be played.
3. The "mixologist" smoothly combines all of the songs (bleeping out any curse words or inappropriate words) and then returns the finished product to the coaches.

Having a "mixologist" on the team would allow us to keep a library of mixes that we can recycle and use as we need. Because we are a brand-new organization, we do not have a budget to pay someone to do this for us at this time.

For those who need community service hours, we would be happy to write you a verification letter or complete any forms that you have. We know that there is a "market" for this type of work among youth dance and cheer teams. If you are growing a business, we would be happy to serve as a reference for you.

No phone calls please.

About SoulPhamm Inc

Location:

613 Washington Boulevard, Suite 1129, Jersey City, NJ 07310, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of young people by providing unique artistic and athletic experiences and performances, and to assist them in achieving the highest standards of professionalism through the development of discipline, skill, confidence, cooperation, leadership, responsibility and character.

Description

Our vision is to promote virtue, equity, unity, justice, faith, charity and a sense of common purpose and brotherhood among all people with an emphasis on the development and advancement of young people through education, athletics, service and the arts.

SoulPhamm was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of New Jersey on June 25, 2021 and is the "birth-child" of Coach Luis ("Lou") and Dr. Leisa Herrera ("Mz. Doc"). The organization exists to provide training to young people in a variety of sports and performing arts and unique opportunities to display those talents through competition and performance. By integrating mentoring, life skills, opportunities for community service and academic enrichment to the athletic/artistic program, we help make our scholar-athletes as well-rounded as possible, capable of meeting and overcoming any challenges they are faced with. Although Coach Lou passed away suddenly in January 2021, the official launch of SoulPhamm was held on June 26, 2021, which coincided with his birthday weekend. SoulPhamm will recognize its own founding, as well as the achievements of our young people every year on the fourth Saturday of June, as a tribute to the life and legacy of Coach Lou.
