"Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in healthcare is the most shocking and inhumane." MLK said this over 50 years ago. In our area Access to healthcare continues to be a crisis. According to a 2017 study, 57% of Bailey’s Crossroads, VA are uninsured. Barriers to accessing medical care are legion. Affordability, language, and documentation are just a few examples. Dedicated individuals and congregations thought something should be done. In 2007, they opened Culmore Clinic, where our goal is: Bringing Community Together To Improve Access To Healthcare.
 Medical Interpretation is a specialized skill which enables a patient to receive healthcare in his/her native language. Culmore Clinic is seeking volunteer medical interpreters that can translate in Spanish at least 2x a month. Shifts are: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:30am to 2pm and 3-7pm. Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Benefits include: Free Professional Development Assistance
