About UNBREAKABLE FAITH INC

Location:

1101 TYVOLA RD SUITE 112, CHARLOTTE, NC 28217, US

Mission Statement

Unbreakable Faith, Inc. provides mentorship to youth in various communities that have experienced molestation, rape, sexual trauma, sexual abuse, or sex trafficking by way of qualified adult volunteers, and by collaborating with other youth programs in the community, providing the tools to help restore confidence so that they can overcome any barriers to success.

Description

Unbreakable Faith, Inc. was founded by Michelle Dewitt, a local minister who uses her personal experiences as a springboard for fulfilling her vision of serving youth and young adults. She volunteered with the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system as a Youth Campus Advisor for troubled youth for over three years. She has experience with the Carolina Youth Commission to help community youth prepare for college. She has also recently served at Present Age Ministries as a mentor to young girls that have been sexually abused and sex trafficked.

Michelle Dewitt believes in holistic treatment, which is treating the entire person and implementing family inclusion where desired and/or needed. Through her experience, she has learned that when individuals do not treat their mental health, they will not fair emotionally or many times physically. Her combination of education and experience makes her the perfect leader for this organization.

We will work to expose our youth to career possibilities, through workshops and training on a variety of occupational and entrepreneur options in various fields, including nontraditional employment. We will also teach job readiness skills like resume writing, interviewing practices, professionalism, etc. We recognize that learned skills are only an asset when connected with opportunity.
