If you are not camera shy and you have high proficiency in English language, here is a volunteer opportunity for you. Join us as a Video Content Creator.

Here's what you'll need to do;
1. Ideate video content ideas on environmental sustainability, climate change and youth!

2. Record, edit and submit one creative video content per week. 3. Edit video content for our programs and projects.
4. Work with the media team to improve our social media engagement.

Requirement 1. You must be a youth between ages 16-25 2. You must be proficient in English language. 3. You must have good video editing skills. 4. You must be able to write creative and interesting scripts for videos. 5. Must have a clear or good quality phone camera.

Description

Team Illuminate is a growing youth-led social enterprise based in Nigeria that specializes in building young people to be productive and green.
It is a network of young people who are actively learning, planning and executing new ideas to preserve the environment and transform the state of the immediate environment. Through community projects and outreaches, youth/student empowerment, campaigns, education/orientation and partnerships.

Some of our accomplishments are:
* Team Illuminate has sensitized 1,000+ secondary school students through environmental awareness programs in schools in partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources. * Team Illuminate has led a 2 month long program for active collection of Plastic waste and has donated 12 tons (approx. 4 ) of PET to Loveworld Recycling Center. * Team Illuminate has supported the work of 15 small businesses by young people through Illuminate Exhibition in 2019. * Team Illuminate has cleaned up a Major BRT Bus stop in Festac, sorted out the waste dumped in the area and sent them in for recycling.
