Become a California Climate Action Corps Fellow! California Climate Action Corps is a first-of-its-kind effort launched in 2021 to empower Californians to take meaningful action to safeguard the climate. Climate Action Corps is dedicated to mobilizing climate actions designed to engage community members, activate change, and leave a lasting impact. Fellows will receive:

  • Fellows serving a 300-hour term will earn a stipend of up to $5,294 (pre-tax, spread over two months) and an education award of $1,374 upon completion to pay educational expenses or repay qualified student loans. (June 5 - August 4, 2023)
  • Professional development and a chance to learn real-world climate action skills through community action projects
  • An opportunity to serve with an organization committed to taking action on climate change where you will be provided access to and support for the implementation of your service projects
Applicants 17 or older are eligible to apply for the Summer term. Applicants 18 and older are eligible to apply for both terms.
