We are looking for some amazing families who are willing to welcome a child into their home. There are many children throughout the Capital Region who are in need of a safe, nurturing place to stay for a little while. Foster parents often find the experience extremely rewarding as they are making such a huge, immediate difference for the life of a child.

Description
Berkshire provides a safe haven for children in need of care through one of our over 550 certified foster homes. Our Foster Care Program's primary goal is to work alongside our foster families to reunify children with their biological families as quickly as possible. When that is not an option, our team works tirelessly to identify "Forever Families" for those youth freed for adoption.

- Orientation or Training
- We have regular, long term foster care placements, short term (6-12 months) placements and respite (a few days a month). There is something for every schedule.
- Foster parents are required to go through a training and certification process to ensure the safety of children. Staff are available for any support the foster parents may need.
