Food Pantry Volunteers Needed in Federal Hill

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Federal Hill House Association

  • 41 people are interested

Federal Hill House runs two of the busiest food pantries in the state, located in the Providence neighborhoods of Federal Hill and Olneyville. Even with the incredible work of our food pantry coordinators and volunteers, we are still strapped with high demand for food pantry services, especially as emergency funding from the COVID-19 pandemic is halted. With your help, we can better meet this demand and support our neighbors in putting quality food on the table.

Volunteers are needed Tuesday - Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for various tasks including greeting guests, helping them select food items throughout the pantry, and restocking shelves as needed. If you are interested in helping out, please contact Michele Matott at volunteer@federalhillhouse.org or at (401) 421-4722. Spanish-speaking volunteers are also welcome!
