Is Compassion your Calling?

Hospice patients, and their families, facing end-of-life journeys need extra TLC. Perhaps it is being with a patient in their home so the caregiver can run errands or meet friends; or playing cribbage with someone in a nursing home; or just offering a quiet presence. All are ways to help others and share your compassion.

If you are looking for truly meaningful service, volunteering with Beyond Hospice may be the place. We offer extensive training on end-of-life issues, a variety of compassionate roles to choose from; generous support from staff and TONS of appreciation from patients and families!

Beyond Hospice is an affiliate of Episcopal Homes supporting hospice patients and their families living in their homes or facilities, including Pillars Hospice home in Oakdale. Mission Statement

Beyond Hospice saw a need in the community for a locally based, non-profit hospice offering high quality and holistic services to the community, not chase profits. Our staff and volunteers have a heart to care for people in homes and facilities as well as at Pillars, our eight bed residence in Oakdale. We know the transition from this life to whatever is beyond can be made with dignity, grace and beauty.
