The CCF maintains over 800acres of land in Chatham and is responsible for over-seeing additional Conservation Restrictions on town properties.
Our steward volunteers help with invasive species mitigation, trail maintenance and native species planting. Year-round opportunities include property research, curriculum development, scanning and organizing documents.
Other support volunteer opportunities included serving as a docent at the Mayo House, clerical and administrative support tasks, creating print, public relations and social media materials.

Description
The CCF maintains four walking trails open to the public. The foundation also owns the historic Mayo House in the center of town and has guided tours in the summer.
