Recruiting Organization: United Nations Association, Northern New Jersey Chapter

The Graphic Designer plays an essential role in UNA, Northern New Jersey's marketing, creative, communications initiatives. This position is responsible for setting design guidelines and developing creative assets, including but not limited to print collateral, websites, email campaigns, advertising, and related projects. The Graphic Designer will support UNA, Northern New Jersey in the following core areas:

1) Branding: In collaboration with the executive and senior leadership, lead the creative vision for UNA, Northern New Jersey, including the organization’s 'voice’ and aesthetic.

2) Marketing & Fundraising: Produce marketing materials that bolster UNA, Northern New Jersey's yearned income, corporate giving and individual donations.

3) Communications and Social Media: Create, consolidate and maintain communication streams such as UNA, Northern New Jersey's website, newsletters, social media content, videos, training materials, etc.

S/he will fulfill other creative projects and needs as directed by his/her supervisor.

Qualifications:

• An intimate understanding of design, copy, and web practices
• Experience with a variety of software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, etc.
• Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated ability to be flexible
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Data visualization experience preferred
• Sense of humor and positive attitude preferred
