Overview: We are seeking individuals who believe in the healing power of therapy and want to help make therapy more accessible for students and adults in the workplace. The therapy access volunteer will work closely with our Director of Therapy Access to identify opportunities to provide free therapy services to those who need it most.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential partnerships with schools, universities, and workplaces to provide free therapy services
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage with potential partners and clients
  • Collaborate with the Director of Therapy Access and other team members to create marketing materials and outreach campaigns
  • Assist with scheduling therapy sessions and managing client communications
  • Maintain and update a database of partner organizations and clients
  • Follow up with partners and clients to ensure satisfaction with therapy services
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Director of Therapy Access or consultancy leadership team

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for mental health and wellness
  • Experience in community outreach or volunteer work
  • Knowledge of mental health and therapy best practices (a degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is a plus, but not required)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with public speaking and making presentations
  • A commitment to the mission of making therapy accessible to all

Time Commitment:

  • Minimum of 6 months commitment, with the option to extend based on performance and availability
  • Able to commit to at least 8-10 hours per week (flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events is a plus)
