Mission Statement

Friends of Cherry Hill mission: The mission of the Friends of Cherry Hill Foundation is to preserve and protect the integrity of the mid-19th century house, barn and outbuildings along with support educational programs that increase appreciation for life in mid-19th century rural Virginia when the Blaisdells, a middle-class farming family, lived at Cherry Hill between 1856 and 1868. City of Falls Church Recreation & Parks Department: The mission of the Falls Church Recreation & Parks Department is to provide a year-round program of recreation and leisure-time activities for all groups and interest levels. The Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and fostering a sense of community by providing superior recreational, educational and cultural services and through the effective maintenance and protection of the City's natural resources.

  • Orientation or Training
  • Two hours every Saturday, dependent on availability.
  • Training is required before giving tours. In this training you will learn the history of the Farmhouse, techniques on how to give an engaging tour, and more resources to make you feel comfortable!
