About Habitat for Humanity - Ogle County

Ogle County Il, Oregon, IL 61061, US

Mission Statement

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our mission is to eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent affordable houses for people in need, helping to revitalize neighborhoods & communities. Our mission principles include - Demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ, Focus on Shelter, advocate for affordable housing, promote dignity and hope, and support sustainable and transformational development.

Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County has been consistently serving Ogle County since 2002. We help families break the cycle of poverty housing and substandard living. With volunteer labor we've been building, repairing and rehabbing houses in Ogle County. Many of our projects, in addition to the homes we build, are mobility projects (ramps for the disabled homeowners in need) as well as critical repairs so that seniors can continue to age-at-home.
