Join us for our Outdoor Volunteer Day from 9am to 12pm on most Saturdays! You will remove invasive weeds which degrade important wildlife habitat!
Volunteers are an essential part of restoring this important land so that generations of endangered species and people will be able to enjoy for years to come. Volunteers will primarily work to remove invasive plant species such as black mustard, which out-compete and strangle plants essential to native fauna.
We will be working outdoors, so please wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection, bug spray and be sure to bring drinking water and a snack. A reusable water bottle is recommended. Please also be prepared for mildly strenuous hiking to reach volunteer locations. There may be uphill conditions depending on the work project.
All volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign and complete their release before they can volunteer. Volunteers under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
