No Veteran Dies Alone is a vigil program to respect our Veterans in their final days. Volunteers may keep watch at their bedside to allow loved ones to take a break, go home and shower, etc. Volunteers let us know when they are willing to be "on call" to come if for this. Additionally, Hospice Volunteers may train as Meal Companion Volunteers and get to know the Veterans in hospice care before their final moments. Hospice Volunteers have training in meal companion program and No Veteran Dies Alone.
