Mission Statement
Advocate Hospice and Palliative Care will advocate to maintain the dignity of all our patients with life limiting illnesses that have chosen to seek comfort care and symptom management, and to their families, and those who care for them.
Description
Our goal is to keep our hospice patients in their homes as long as possible where they're most comfortable, supporting them and their families with high-level nursing care.
The owners are Dr. Kevin Jackson and his wife Barb Jackson. They have been in the medical field for over 20 years. We provided Medical Director, Skilled Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistants, Chaplains, Social Workers and Volunteers to our Hospice Patients. Our Volunteer training is on line and 1 hour of In-Person training.
We have patients throughout the entire Valley. Volunteer assignments are custom made to the Patient and Volunteer interest. Anywhere from reading, writing letters, putting puzzles together, or just being with the patient. We are in the process of becoming members of the "We Honor Veterans" program.
