Purpose:

The Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization is looking for a compassionate and highly organized Media and Marketing coordinator to be a part of our team. This leader will be highly skilled in the Media/marketing areas and will deliver on bringing the community and youth together through our mission, vision, and value statements. This leader will be the liaison for public togetherness. Fun and creativity is in the hands of the Media & Marketing Coordinator role.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all media & marketing materials, website updates, and social media presence on behalf of the organization.
  • Responsible for corporate messaging development and distribution.
  • Be the last point of contact with organization deliverables before they are published/distributed ensuring all formatting and content are in‐line with organization standards and expectations.
  • Proactively generate ways to advance the organization's brand in industry trade publications, digital media, speaking opportunities, conference participation and other forms of advertising.
  • Create the annual marketing plan/budget
  • Implement the annual marketing plan
  • Continually evaluate the public relations strategy
  • Ensure documents and marketing materials are current, accurate and properly reflect the brand and desired messaging
  • Performs other duties as assigned which are in the best interests of the organization
  • Oversee and provide special content for all social media influencers


Qualifications:

Must be located in the United States of America, preferably in the Chicagoland area.
  • Ability to create and assemble attractive marketing materials.
  • Work well with a team
  • Knowledge of Marketing, real estate and/or business office space considered a plus
  • Demonstrate ability to think creatively and independently
  • Advanced design knowledge / experience
  • Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary to prioritize multiple initiatives and projects
  • Demonstrate a professional level of verbal, written and listening skills
  • Working knowledge of design and implementation software necessary for the job function (PPTX, Prezi, Word, PDF, MailChimp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Facebook, Adobe InDesign platform or Adobe CC, etc.

The Restoring.Our.Youth.Organization Inc.is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the youth, teens, youth adults, and communities through our mission and vision. We believe that it is our duty and responsibility to render services to the communities by implementing restoration programs and development training to our youth, young adults, and communities. We will:

  • Empower our youth to "Think Big" in all that they say and do.
  • Meet the needs of the surrounding communities.
  • Ignite unity in every community.
  • Act as mentors and coaches for all of our members and the organization.
  • Help create and develop our future leaders.

The R.O.Y.Organization's servant journey has begun to target youth group ages 3-12, teens 13-19, young adults 21-25, and south suburban communities in the Chicagoland area. Our future goal is to reach all developing communities around the world.

It is our mission and vision to re-invent the wheel and restore the youth, and generations that have suffered from many past and present negative milestones to included deprivation of equality, economic success, and social justice.

Our team consists of professional leaders and concerned citizens who are charged up, and who are passionate about driving the R.O.Y.Organization's mission and vision. We pledge to make a positive change that will ignite togetherness, and develop leaders to be productive citizens of today, tomorrow, and generations to come.
