Camp Because I Said I Would aims to equip 12 to 17-year-old students and families who have experienced loss with essential resilience-building skills. Through the provision of scholarships, the camp will also support young people who have been impacted by abuse, bereavement, or suicidal ideation.

Help us maintain the cleanliness and organization of the outdoor areas of the facility. The responsibilities include picking up trash, debris and litter from the grounds, organizing chairs and other outdoor activities, and ensuring the area is free of hazards. The volunteer will also need to identify and report any issues that require attention, such as broken furniture or lights that need replacing.

You must be able to:

• Bend over to pick up trash or debris
• Walk for long periods
• Identify & report possible hazards

because I said I would is a social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. We are changing lives through character development programs and volunteer projects in partnership with schools, juvenile detention centers, prisons and communities.
