Camp HOPE, Safe Futures - Camp Counselor
ORGANIZATION: Safe Futures
Please visit the new page to apply.
Camp HOPE America, Safe Futures focuses on providing a transformative experience for children and teens exposed to domestic violence. HOPE Counselors, aged 18 to 24, play a crucial role by going beyond traditional camp duties and becoming a source of hope, support, and mentorship. They actively participate in the trauma-informed Camp HOPE curriculum, engaging campers in activities like rock climbing, paddle boarding, field games, and campfires. This is more than a summer opportunity; it's a chance to be a positive force, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of the children served. The program itself emphasizes character development over accomplishments, offering a week of overnight camp with various activities designed to challenge campers, build resilience, and foster pathways to hope and healing. Join Camp HOPE as a counselor and become a catalyst for positive change in the lives of youth.
