In search of dog lovers living in Las Vegas, NV! Adoption events are an essential tool in getting homeless dogs adopted because it allows to potential adopters to meet the dog in person and spend some quality time getting to know them. Adoption events often result in that dog getting adopted! This position is the point of contact for the Kiss My Paws Rescue and the other agencies that coordinate the adoption events. Your participation includes connecting with the outside agencies, getting the details on the event, checking the calendar to see if the rescue can participate, arriving day of the event with set up supplies (tent, chairs, table) and ending the day with break down of the set up. Events generally occur on a Saturday or Sunday. Adoption events are happy, fun days because you get to meet all the sweet dogs in our care, as well as with other rescue’s which attend the event.
VOLUNTEER MUST LIVE IN IN THE GREATER LAS VEGAS/SUMMERLIN/HENDERSON METRO AREA.

Mission Statement
Kiss my Paws Rescue is a licensed 501(c)3 non profit organization, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs in need. Dealing with the challenges of dog rescue, some of which include overcrowded shelters, lack of public awareness, and overbreeding, requires problem-solvers who are willing to take risks. Kiss My Paws emerged out of a pursuit to take bold risks and to speak louder than words for those who cannot speak for themselves. Our overall goal as animal advocates is to improve legislation and awareness of dog rescue in the Las Vegas valley.

Kiss My Paws wants to spread our message of hope and compassion towards the homeless dogs in our valley. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the life of an animal, and that collective action can greatly impact the community as a whole.
