Camp volunteers come together each year to create a magical space where Teens diagnosed with cancer can enjoy the opportunity to just be a teen again.
Our Teen Oncology Camp runs from June 21st - 27th at our new property in Fairfield, called Hidden Paradise. Campers are ages 13-17 years old. Come create and enjoy the magic that is Camp Rainbow Gold. Cabin counselors usually have 5-8 campers in their cabins with 2-3 counselors in a cabin. Cabin counselors supervise campers, get them to activities on time, and create an environment where campers can explore, create connections, and try new experiences. Volunteers stay the entire time, sleep in the cabins, and enjoy the delicious camp cooking our kitchen creates! Trainings will be provided.
Cabin counselors need to be 20 years or older, can pass a background check, are excited to work with teens, and enjoy the outdoors!
