CodePath.org’s Technical Interview Prep course gives college CS students who are underrepresented in tech the hands-on experience they need to ace the challenging algorithmic problems used by top tech companies in interviews.
This course relies on volunteers who help coach a small group of students through practice problems and mock technical interviews. Over the semester, you will build a professional relationship with your students and become a professional resource for them as they begin their career in tech. This is a great opportunity to not only give back to students, but to gain valuable resume experience while developing leadership experience and growing their own skills as a tech professional.
Will you join us this summer? We are looking for live virtual support from volunteer coaches for 1 hour per week for 9 weeks. Training is provided before the course launch and support from CodePath is provided throughout the duration of the course.
Benefits for volunteers:
- Opportunity to give back and address systemic bias in tech
- Ability to form connections with high achieving CS students looking for internships and full-time jobs
- Training and continued support from CodePath staff to improve your communication and leadership skills
- Valuable experience for your resume
- Low weekly commitment of 1-2 hours per week for 9 weeks this summer
