The Call For Action team is calling innovators, engineers, sociologists, and scientists to address social issues in the technology industry and help us curate innovations to solve these critical social problems. We are looking for a talented UI Developer to join our team.

What will you do at HiTS?

• Be a part of HiTS volunteer-based organization that tackles social issues through technology solutions
• Set the vision for development of a project and ensure the product meets the established goals and continues its growth trajectory through great digital experiences, innovative ideas, and continuous improvement
• Maintaining product backlog and the product roadmap, own prioritization process of product solutions
• Own the product life cycle: market research, defining wireframes, scope, KPIs and development process
• Collaborate with relevant teams to deliver high-quality products on time
• Support and enhance existing products with thoughtful and measurable impact

Requirements:

• Design and build web applications with an emphasis on usability, robustness, and fault tolerance.
• Take complex, technical, networking concepts and make them feel intuitive to our customers.
• Improve engineering standards by advocating for code quality through code reviews and peer reviews of product designs.
• Always be on the lookout for improving processes to overcome past mistakes.
• Work in an agile environment where success is measured by delivering on commitments.
• Experience with 5 years.
